1. Bake and frost your cupcakes (any kind of cupcake and frosting will work)
2. Dip the frosted side of each cupcake into red granulated sugar
3. Add chocolate chip dots
4. Use some type of icing in a tube to draw a black line down the center of each cupcake. Color in the "face" of the lady bug with the frosting. I used black colored 'Betty Crocker Cookie Icing':
