How to make time for couponing

A lot of people dismiss couponing, stating that they don't have enough time to keep up every week with it. If you have seen TLC's show "Extreme Couponing", then you have seen the people who spend 30+ hours a week devoted to couponing in addition to their regular jobs, and are completely obsessed with it. That is a little much, in my opinion. There are many ways to save time when couponing, so here are a few.....

#1. I try to view the sales ads at my stores the week before the sales start. Here is how I do that for CVS and Meijer: If you go to their Facebook pages, they often offer "sneak peak" of the upcoming week's sales ad. This gives you time to order coupons online from clipping services, and search online databases for coupons. My favorite place to print coupons is HERE!

****THE UPCOMING MEIJER AD, STARTING 10/22 CAN BE SEEN HERE!

#2. Utilizing all the couponing blogs out their that help spot the good deals for your national stores like Target, CVS, Rite Aid etc. My favorite is http://thekrazycouponlady.com/. The limitations in this method, is that a lot of the Michigan based stores like Kroger and Meijer are not usually included on these websites.

#3. Make a coupon binder, using baseball card holder sheets. This may seem time consuming at first, but it makes your actual shopping trips so much easier. I organize mine by section of the store: Baby, dairy, frozen, meat etc.
