So, yes, once again this was last week's coupon applied to this week's savings. So what if you don't have last weeks paper? Bummer. Then I guess you miss out on this deal, but start getting the paper every week and you can follow along with the deals I am posting here. Maybe you can scrounge around in someone's recycling bin looking for the paper. Anyways, back to my story here......
At CVS I was able to buy 2 covergirl products and save $8.00. ALSO, I applied a CVS extracare coupon that came out THIS WEEK that saves "$3 off of any covergirl purchase of ten dollars or more".
I was able to get Mascara (org. priced at 6.49) AND eyeliner (org. priced at 6.29) for a grand total of ONE DOLLAR AND SEVENTY EIGHT CENTS!!!
The best part is, since my husband also has a CVS Extracare card, I was able to duplicate this exact transaction because I had another Covergirl coupon and his CVS coupon.
*** FYI.......For those of you who dont know this, CVS has a store loyalty card an "Extracare Card". All you do to get one is fill out a form at the cash register and you instantly get one that is ready to use. Super simple. Its just like the Kroger card at Kroger. Every week CVS has new store coupons that come out for the week, and to recieve them you just scan your CVS card in the coupon printing machine at the front of the store and the coupons print out. The great part is that you can use one CVS coupon and one manufacturer coupon for a single item purchased.
